Experts at GSPANN performed migration to Magento 2 Commerce edition and IBM Sterling OMS while integrating these two platforms with Oracle ERP and FarEye Logistics. In addition, we developed a framework within Magento to add country or brand-specific stores within days that fully support multi-language, multi-currency omnichannel capabilities.
These upgrades provide a foundation for growth and scalability to the client while enabling a personal, regionalized omnichannel experience for its multi-country customers. The client can now quickly add three additional countries and have the foundation for Commerce-class platforms to scale both in number of customers and in diversity of languages and currencies they encounter in new markets.
Nearly every aspect of the client’s e-commerce operation was upgraded during this project—e-commerce platform, ERP, OMS, and other backend platforms in the ecosystem. User experience was updated with customized store templates and UI was refactored for a streamlined shopping journey. We also simplified Product Search by integrating Magento Commerce with Algolia to display real-time search results.
