Description
GSPANN is hiring an L2 Support Engineers with expertise in Service Desk Management, Support Operations, and Retail Technologies like POS and store devices. This full-time role involves supporting store operations, troubleshooting POS systems, and integrating retail technologies.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Support daily store operations in the retail industry, leveraging over five years of relevant experience.
  • Manage and oversee the service desk's daily operations, ensuring prompt and effective IT issue resolution.
  • Lead and mentor the service desk team by offering guidance, conducting training sessions, and performing regular evaluations.
  • Handle incident and service desk management responsibilities, as well as other support operations.
  • Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure the proper functioning of POS systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to POS hardware and software.
  • Integrate POS systems with other retail technologies, such as inventory management and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Supervise store staff by managing schedules, providing training, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to ensure products remain available for customers.
Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years of experience with incident management and service desk operations.
  • Provide support for e-commerce applications and database systems.
    Work with various store technologies, including POS systems and store devices.
  • Manage IT assets effectively and oversee asset management processes.
  • Lead support teams with proven experience in team management and leadership.
  • Knowledge of network systems as an added advantage.
  • Have exposure to Java programming, which is considered an additional advantage.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills for effective interactions with store associates.
